§ 17.24.010. Required when.

The Administrative Authority may require the submission of plans, specifications, drawings and such other information as he may deem necessary, prior to the commencement of, and at any time during the progress of, any work regulated by this Code.

§ 17.24.020. Professional requirements.

All design, construction and workmanship shall be in conformity with accepted engineering practices and shall be of such character as to secure the results sought to be obtained by this Code. The Administrative Authority shall require that plans, specifications and drawings be prepared and certified by a registered professional engineer of the appropriate discipline, i.e., for the pool structure, a registered civil or structural engineer, and for the mechanical system, a registered civil or mechanical engineer.

§ 17.24.030. Manufacturer's standard structural and mechanical details…

When the permittee desires to use standard structural and mechanical details, it shall be his responsibility to obtain and furnish a letter from the responsible registered engineer(s) certifying that the structural and mechanical designs are suitable for the conditions actually encountered on the site.

§ 17.24.040. Manufacturer's standard structural and mechanical details use—Portable pools.

When the permittee desires, he may use manufacturer's standard structural and mechanical details for portable pool erection on the surface of the ground.
