Section 3007 of the CBC is adopted by reference, except that Section 3007.1 of the CBC is not adopted; and, in lieu, LAMC Subsection 91.3007.1 is added.
91.3007.1. General.¶
(Amended by Ord. No. 185,587, Eff. 7/16/18.) Where required by CBC Section 403.6.1, every floor of the building shall be served by fire service access elevators complying with CBC Sections 3007.1 through 3007.9 with the modifications set forth in this Code. Except as modified in this section, fire service access elevators shall be installed in accordance with this division and the Elevator Code. (Readopted by Ord. No. 188,797, Eff. 12/31/25.)
