§ 14.04

By adoption of this chapter, the city council desires to establish complete authority for the city to take all necessary actions to accomplish economic development of the city.

14.04.020. - Authority.

A city may:

(a)

From time to time prepare and carry out plans for the improvement, rehabilitation, and development of any property within the city for purposes of economic development.

(b)

Acquire and sell or otherwise dispose of real or personal property for purposes of economic development.

(c)

Disseminate information.

(d)

Prepare applications for various federal programs and grants relating to economic development and plan and carry out such programs.

(e)

Take all necessary actions to accomplish economic development of the city.
