§ 4-08.130. Specific license requirements – Taxicab stand.¶
Every applicant for a license for a taxicab stand must show to the satisfaction of the issuing officer that the location of the stand is such that it will not interfere with the use of the highway by the public nor endanger the safety of the traveling public and that the public convenience and necessity require the establishment of the stand.

§ 4-08.140. Regulations – Designation of taxicab stands.¶
Every taxicab stand established hereunder shall be indicated by white paint upon the entire curb surface and a six-inch wide white line boxing in the stand area. Inside the enclosed area (on the street surface) shall be painted in white letters twenty-four (24) inches (minimum height) the words “TAXI ONLY.”
The painting of the curb surface, lines and wording shall be done at the sole expense of the applicant both as to the initial work and any subsequent repainting which, in the opinion of the City Engineer, is necessary. All work shall be done to the satisfaction of the City Engineer.
