§ 3.12.010. Definitions.¶
The following words and expressions when used in this chapter shall, for the purpose of this chapter, have the meanings respectively ascribed to them as follows:
"City"
means the City of Jackson, a municipal corporation, situated in the county of Amador, State of California.
"County"
means the county of Amador, a political subdivision of the State of California.

§ 3.12.020. Transfer of duties.¶
The assessment and tax collection duties, and the collection of assessments levied for municipal improvements, now performed by the city assessor and city tax collector, are transferred to the county assessor and county tax collector for the purpose of assessment and collection of and for ad valorem property taxes that become a lien after December 1, 1960; and the collection of assessments for municipal improvements becoming due and payable on and after July 1, 1961.

§ 3.12.030. Filing of certified copy.¶
The city clerk shall cause a certified copy of the ordinance in this chapter to be filed with the county auditor on or before the first Monday of February, 1961 and immediately thereafter shall notify the State Board of Equalization.
