§ 9-17. Ordinance No. 1997.¶
Ordinance No. 1997 which imposed an Alcoholic Beverage Consumption Tax shall be suspended and shall not again be of any force and effect until and unless the State legislature has enacted legislation enabling local governmental agencies to impose such a tax or until and unless a judicial ruling has been made authorizing the imposition of such a tax.

Editor's Note: Ordinance No. 1997 has been amended by Ordinance No. 2309 which reads in part:
"Section 1. Ordinance No. 1997 as referred to in Chapter 9, Article 3, Section 9-17 of the Inglewood Municipal Code is hereby amended to provide the maximum rate of tax as may be allowed under state law, not to exceed ten percent."
