§ 3.09.010. Signature required for warrant.

Warrants drawn on the City Treasurer shall be signed by any of the following officers: Mayor, Director of Administrative Services, Management Analyst or City Manager.

§ 3.09.020. Drawing warrants.

Upon allowing a demand or approving a register of audited demands, the Mayor, Director of Administrative Services, Management Analyst or City Manager may draw a warrant or warrants upon the City Treasurer specifying the purpose for which drawn in the fund from which payment is to be made.

§ 3.09.030. Payroll warrants.

Payroll warrants or checks shall be presented to the legislative body for ratification and approval at the first meeting after delivery of the payroll warrants or checks.

§ 3.09.040. Warrants drawn in payment of demand.

Warrants or checks drawn in payment of demand certified or approved by the Administrative Services Director as conforming to a budget approved by ordinance of the legislative body need not be audited by the legislative body prior to payment.
