§ 9.06.010. Prohibitions designated.

No person who has been arrested by the Hawthorne police department or any officer thereof, and no person who has been sentenced by a court of competent jurisdiction to the Hawthorne city jail shall escape or attempt to escape from:

A. The Hawthorne city jail and police station;

B. Streets, highways, camps or other public property being used in connection with forced labor requirements of the chief of police;

C. The custody of any peace officer assigned to guard or transport a prisoner;

D. The defined limitations of trustee privileges.
