Hawthorne Municipal Code Ch. 13.72 Sewer Charge Fund

The money collected under Section 13.68.010 shall be deposited with the city treasurer and credited to the city sewer charge fund.

All revenues received in the city sewer charge fund, as provided in Section 13.72.010, may be expended or transferred from the sewer charge fund only for the following purposes:

A. To accomplish any lawful purpose stated in Section 13.48.010 of this article;

B. To accomplish any lawful purpose set forth in Section 5474.9 of the Health and Safety Code of the state;

C. To accomplish any other sewer purpose that the city council may lawfully authorize;

D. To pay engineering costs, labor costs, professional fees, mileage expense, overhead costs and construction or maintenance of sewers;

E. To pay refunds as authorized by Section 13.68.020;

F. To repay, with or without interest, funds advanced to the sewer charge fund from any other fund.
