§ 10.28.010. Prima facie speed limits.

It is determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic investigation that the speed permitted by state law is greater or less than is reasonable or safe under the conditions found to exist upon the following streets, and it is declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as set forth in this section on those streets, or parts of streets, designated when signs are erected giving notice thereof:

  1. 9th Avenue.

a. Lacey Boulevard to Highway 198 - 40 mph.

b. Highway 198 to Hanford-Armona Road - 40 mph.

c. Hanford-Armona Road to Houston Avenue - 50 mph.

  1. 9 1/4 Avenue.

a. Leland Way to Grangeville Boulevard - 35 mph.

b. Grangeville Boulevard to Lacey Boulevard - 45 mph.

  1. 10th Avenue.

a. Highway 43 to Fargo Avenue - 45 mph.

b. Fargo Avenue to Lacey Boulevard - 40 mph.

c. Lacey Boulevard to Third Street - 35 mph.

d. Third Street to Hanford-Armona Road - 45 mph.

e. Iona Avenue to Idaho Avenue - 50 mph.

  1. 10 1/2 Avenue from Hanford-Armona Road to south city limits - 40 mph.

  2. 11th Avenue.

a. Flint Avenue to Fargo Avenue - 45 mph.

b. Fargo Avenue to Florinda Street - 40 mph.

c. Florinda Street to Lacey Boulevard - 35 mph.

d. Lacey Boulevard to Highway 198 - 35 mph.

e. Highway 198 to Hume Avenue - 40 mph.

f. Hume Avenue to Houston Avenue - 45 mph.

g. Houston Avenue to Idaho Avenue - 50 mph.
