§ 2.05.010. Authority and Appointment of Office.¶
The office of the City Treasurer is established pursuant to California Government Code Section 36501. The City Treasurer shall be appointed by the City Manager.

§ 2.05.020. Compensation.¶
The City Treasurer shall receive such compensation and expense allowance as the City Council shall from time to time determine, and such compensation shall be a proper charge against such funds of the City as the City Council shall designate.

§ 2.05.030. Functions.¶
The City Treasurer shall perform such duties as are prescribed by Sections 41001 through 41007 of the California Government Code and by any other provisions of law applicable to deposit, investment, and safe-keeping of public funds of the City.
