15.14.010 - California Energy Code adopted.¶
The California Energy Code as referenced in the 2022 California Building Code is adopted by reference.

15.14.020 - Exceptions and superseding provisions.¶
A. Exception 3 to Section 150.1(c)14 amended as follows:
Buildings with enforcement-authority-approved roof designs, where the enforcement authority determines it is not possible for the PV system, including panels, modules, and components and supports and attachments to the roof structure, to meet the requirements of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Standard 7-16, Chapter 7 Snow Loads.
- Areas where the ground snow load value is determined by the County of Fresno to be 100 pounds per square foot and greater, and structural attachments for photovoltaic (solar) array is subject to damage from snow and ice freeze-thaw expansion and contraction.
