§ 15-32. To be kept.

Every person engaged in or carrying on the business of a secondhand dealer, junk dealer or auto wrecker shall keep a written record of all sales and purchases made in the course of his business.

§ 15-33. Preparation of record forms.

The chief of police shall cause to be prepared from time to time such numbers of purchase record forms as may be necessary in order to enable licensees to execute and file the same as required by this chapter.

§ 15-34. Sale of record forms; price.

The chief of police shall sell purchase record forms to licensees at the price set by the council by resolution.

The record required by this article shall be kept on the form furnished by the chief of police.

§ 15-37. Copies to be made.

Records required by this article shall be made in triplicate, and shall be written, printed or typed in a legible manner.

§ 15-38. To be kept on file and available for inspection.

Records required by this article shall be kept on file at the place of business of the licensee and shall be available for inspection at all reasonable times by the chief of police, police officers of the city or any peace officer of the state.

§ 15-39. Weekly submission of copies to police.

A licensee shall forward on the first day of each week one copy of the record required by this article to the office of the chief of police.
