For statutory provisions regarding the recruitment and training requirements necessary to enable cities to qualify for state aid from the California Peace Officer's Training Fund, see Penal Code § 13522.
§ 2.48.010. Aid desired.¶
The city declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the state under the provisions of Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the State Penal Code.

§ 2.48.020. State standards adherence pledged.¶
Pursuant to Section 13522 of such Chapter 1 referred to in CMC § 2.48.010, the city, while receiving aid from the state pursuant to such Chapter 1, will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the State Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.
