Capitola Municipal Code Ch. 10.56 Maximum Length

Pursuant to Vehicle Code Section 35401(e), it is prohibited in the city for any person to operate upon any public street a combination of vehicles of a total length in excess of sixty feet. Exceptions to this section may be allowed by the public works director for unusual circumstances, such as the need to bring a utility pole or a pier for the wharf into the city. Such exceptions shall be obtained prior to the entry of the vehicle into the city. (Ord. 551, 1984)
