A licensed psychologist who for reasons, including, but not limited to, retirement, ill health, or absence from the state, is not engaged in the practice of psychology, may apply to the board to request that their license be placed on an inactive status. A licensed psychologist who holds an inactive license shall pay a biennial renewal fee, fixed by the board, of two hundred twenty-one dollars ($221). The board may adopt regulations to set the fee at a higher amount, up to a maximum of four hundred dollars ($400).
