10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 SUPERIOR COURT COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO 247 West Third Street, Eleventh Floor San Bernardino, California 92415 IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO IN RE: GENERAL ORDER #GO26-014 NEEDLES, BIG BEAR VALLEY, AND GENERAL ORDER OF THE TRONA AREA RESIDENTS EXCUSED ) PRESIDING JUDGE FROM JURY SERVICE | Prospective jurors from the Needles, Big Bear Valley, and Trona areas would have to travel an excessive distance to the court to serve as a juror. Due to the excessive distance, | find it to be an undue hardship for these citizens to be summonsed for jury service and therefore grant excusal on all cases. Any citizen who wishes to be exempt from this order shall contact the Jury Commissioner and request that his or her name continue to be placed on the list for jury summons. This order is effective January 1, 2026, and supersedes all previous general orders entitled Needles, Big Bear and Trona Area Residents Excused from Jury Service, issued by previous Presiding Judges. This order shall remain in effect until December 31, 2027.
