NOTICE TO PAY REAL PROPERTY TAXES BY ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSER (EFT)

Dear (assessee):

Pursuant to Revenue and Taxation Code section 2503.2, the tax collector of any city, county, or city and county may require an assessee meeting specific criteria to make payments of real property taxes by electronic fund transfer (EFT).

You have been identified as an assessee whose tax payments equal or exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) in the aggregate. Therefore, you are directed to pay by EFT. Your first payment must be made on or before December 10, (year) and your second payment must be made on or before April 10, (year) by EFT.

Enclosed is an Electronic Fund Transfer Program Information Guide, together with an EFT Authorization Agreement form. Please complete and return the form within 10 days.
