1 2 3 4 5 6 UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY COURT 7 NORTHERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA 8 9 10 In re PAYMENT ADVICES11 12 GENERAL ORDER 32 13 Effective February 20, 2017, the following requirements for providing payment advices14 (employment pay stubs) shall apply to Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases filed in this District:15 16 1. Do not file payment advices with the Court. A debtor satisfies the filing requirement 17 described in 11 U.S.C. § 521(a)(1)(B)(iv) by providing the required payment advices (or an 18 alternative described in subsection (2) below) directly to the trustee at least seven (7) days prior to the first date set for the meeting of creditors under 11 U.S.C. § 341.19 20 2. A debtor whose payment advices are not available may provide to the trustee, in the 21 alternative, a certification setting forth the reasons that the required information is unavailable. 22 The certification should state the debtor’s estimate of payments received within the 60 days 23 before the petition date and provide other evidence, if any, of the payments received. 24 IT IS SO ORDERED. 25 Dated: January 30, 2017 26 27 Roger Efremsky Chief Bankruptcy Judge28
