SUPERIOR COURT, COUNTY OF FRESNO NOTICE EFFECTIVE 12/12/2016 RE: Services of Official Court Reporters at the B.F. Sisk Civil Courthouse
Policy pursuant to California Rules of Court, rules 2.956.
Court Reporters are assigned to the following departments and are normally available: Department: 201 Department: 203 Department: 304 Department: 202 Department: 204
The services of official court reporters are not normally available in any other departments of the Superior Court of California, County of Fresno for unlimited civil, limited civil, probate and family support cases, with the exception of certain statutorily required hearing types.
OTHER COURT DEPARTMENTS ASSIGNED CIVIL TRIAL/ HEARINGS: Occasionally, other departments may be assigned unlimited civil, limited civil, probate or family support trials/hearings for which no court reporters will be available.
Prior to the trial date, each party must file a statement with the Court requesting the presence an official court reporter and their intent to provide their own official court reporter, as the parties are hereby noticed that the Court does not provide such services in the above mentioned matters.
