Temporary Closure Empire Annex

The Sonoma County Superior Court Empire Annex, which houses Civil Departments 16 and 17 is temporarily closed due to a "major" mice infestation. All court personnel has been evacuated and relocated to other court buildings. We do not know the cause, but there has been significant construction in the building's adjacent interior areas, which may have precipitated the issue. Therefore, Superior Court Departments 16 and 17 are closed until the extermination and sanitation can be completed.

The court will issue a general public announcement when the departments re-open. In the meantime, Department 16 and Department 17 calendars will be called in various available courtrooms. The court will attempt to send notices in advance of calendars as to location. In addition, closure signs are posted on the Empire Building Court Annex courtroom lobby entrance.

If you have a pending matter in either Department 16 or Department 17 and have not been notified where that matter will be heard, please call 707-521-6729.
