Appearance Procedure Probate and Mental Health Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse

In person services are available in the Probate Department Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Costa Mesa Justice Complex 3390 Harbor Blvd. Costa Mesa, CA 92626-1554
Appearance Procedure
Refer to Local Rule 601.02. Remote and In-Person Appearances in Probate Proceedings for information regarding remote and in person appearances.
The court is providing the convenience to appear for hearing by video using the court’s designated video platform. This is a no cost service to the public. To appear remotely, go to the Court’s Probate Appearance Procedure and Information website at The Superior Court of California - County of Orange (occourts.org) and click on the blue bar or the remote hearing instructions link for further details. Remote Hearing Instructions If you have difficulty connecting or are unable to connect to your remote hearing, call 657-622-8452 for assistance. If you prefer to appear in-person, you can appear in the department on the day/time set for your hearing.
Notice in Probate Cases
Until further notice, parties must include the following language when serving notice of hearing and publication in all Probate cases:

Electronic Submission of Letters and Bonds
Until further notice, electronic submission of Letters will be allowed and require a signature (electronic, digital, or otherwise). Letters without signatures will not be accepted for processing.
Until further notice, electronic submission of bonds will be allowed. The submitting party must retain possession of the original bond and make it available to the court upon request
