Holiber, Deputy County Counsel, as attorney for the Office of the San Mateo County Public Guardian, and, for good cause appearing, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED:

1. That the Public Guardian for the County of San Mateo is the agency designated to serve as Probate Conservator of the Person and Estate of those individuals who are unable to meet their basic needs for physical health, food, clothing, or shelter, and/or who are unable to manage his/her own financial resources or resist fraud or undue influence when no other person is appointed to serve in that capacity. The Public Guardian for the County of San Mateo is appointed as Conservator of the Person and Estate in LPS Conservatorship proceedings when the individual under the disability of the Conservatorship is suffering from a mental illness or mental disease.
2. That Jean S. Fraser is the duly appointed Public Guardian for the County of San Mateo. By way of this Order, the Court hereby authorizes the individuals named in this Order to execute any document or tax return required to be filed in conjunction with a tax return with the Internal Revenue Service or the California State Franchise Tax Board or with any other agency designated for this purpose.
