14 Upon consideration of the United States District Court’s continuation of the 15 Continuity of Operations Plan issued on May 28, 2020, and the need to continue 16 hearing all matters remotely based on the guidance and orders of federal, state and 17 local officials, 18 IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows, unless and until otherwise ordered by 19 this court or the presiding judge in any specific case: 20 1. Continuation of Earlier Order. This court’s Amended General Order 20-02, 21 issued on April 1, 2020, remains in effect and is continued to and including 22 June 30, 2020. 23 2. Continuance of Telephonic or Video Appearances in all matters through and 24 including June 30, 2020. There will be no physical access to the United 25 States Bankruptcy Court for any court hearings before June 30, 2020, absent 26 a specific order so authorizing access by the presiding judge establishing the 27 necessity of an in-person hearing. 28

1 3. Social Security Number Statements. A self-represented litigant filing
2 a voluntary bankruptcy case must include the signed “Statement About
3 Your Social Security Numbers” (Official Form 121) with the initial filing
4 when mailing the documents (F.R.B.P. 1007(f).). When filing a voluntary
5 bankruptcy case through the court’s eSR program, the signed “Statement
6 About Your Social Security Numbers” form must be mailed to the court
7 within ten (10) days of filing, or the case will be dismissed. All self-represented
8 filing instructions are explained in more detail on the court’s website under

11 4. Mediations. Mediations may resume and are in the discretion of the mediator
12 as to how to proceed, but no mediations may be held in person at the
13 courthouse before July 1, 2020.
14 5. Opening of Filing Windows. The Clerk of Court is authorized to open limited
15 intake windows for in-person filings once she is assured appropriate measures
16 are in place to maintain the safety of all involved.
17 6. Phased Reopening Plans. The Court’s Continuity of Operations Plan will
18 remain in place and be modified gradually based on the rate of infection
19 and deaths from the COVID-19 virus, and local, state and federal guidance.
20 Details of these modifications will be posted on the court’s website and
21 communicated to staff as they are implemented.
