CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE AND AGREEMENT FOR JUVENILE CASES

All records related to juvenile court cases are confidential, including all information disclosed

during a juvenile court proceeding.

You are being permitted by the Court to attend and observe juvenile court proceedings as an

individual who has a direct and legitimate interest in a particular case or the work of the court. As a result of being admitted into the courtroom, you will likely hear, see, or otherwise receive confidential juvenile court case information.

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION PROHIBITED: You may not in any way disseminate,

disclose, share, or talk about any of the information you obtain during your observation and attendance in the juvenile court proceedings without permission from the Court [or, other than to persons or agencies described in Welfare and Institutions Code Section 827(a)(1)].

If you improperly disclose any confidential information related to the juvenile court proceedings, you

may be subject to contempt of court or criminal prosecution and the risk of civil liability for money damages.

I have read and understood this Confidentiality Notice and Agreement and agree to abide by the

nondisclosure provision.
