8 UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY COURT 9 CENTRAL DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA 10 11 IN RE: PROCEDURES FOR PHASED REOPENING DURING GENERAL ORDER 20-0912 COVID-19 PUBLIC EMERGENCY

14 Upon consideration of the continuation of the Continuity of Operations Plan

15 (“COOP”) implemented on March 18, 2020, in response to the ongoing COVID-19

16 pandemic, to more closely align with the District Court operations and maintain access

17 for the public, and in light of further guidance from the State of California Public Health

18 Officer,

19 IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:

20 1. Bankruptcy Intake in Los Angeles, Northern, Santa Ana, San Fernando

21 Valley Courthouses Are Open. Along with provisions for Los Angeles,

22 San Fernando Valley and Santa Ana Divisions, the Intake area

23 of the Northern Division Courthouse located at 1415 State Street,

24 Santa Barbara, California 93101, will reopen to the public on Monday,

25 October 19, 2020 to accept in-person filings. The Intake area in the

26 Riverside Division remains closed.

27 2. Effectiveness of Earlier Order. All provisions of the Court’s Amended

28 General Order 20-06, issued on September 11, 2020, remain in effect.

1 3. Phased Reopening Plans. The Court’s COOP will remain in place and

2 be modified gradually as necessary. Details of these modifications will be

3 posted on the Court’s website and communicated to staff as they are

4 implemented.

5 IT IS SO ORDERED.
