In re ) ) BANKRUPTCY GENERAL ORDER REQUIREMENT TO FILE A ) CERTIFICATION RE: DOMESTIC ) NO. 172 SUPPORT OBLIGATIONS IN ) CHAPTER 13 CASES ) )

To ensure compliance with 11 U.S.C. § 1328(a),

IT IS ORDERED that in all Chapter 13 cases filed on or after October 17, 2005, the debtor

shall file a Certification of Eligibility for Discharge as required by Local Bankruptcy Rule 4004, CHAPTER 13 DISCHARGE.

RULE 4004. CHAPTER 13 DISCHARGE.

4004-1. CERTIFICATION.

In order to obtain a discharge, chapter 13 debtors shall file a certification concerning

Domestic Support Obligations which shall substantially conform to Local Form CSD 2120, CERTIFICATION OF ELIGIBILITY FOR DISCHARGE. In joint cases, each debtor shall complete and file a separate form.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the period of comment shall be now until JULY 25,

  1. Absent any further order of the Court, the effective date of this rule will be JULY 26, 2007. Any comments should be submitted to the Clerk of Court at 325 West “F” Street, San Diego, California 92101-6991. Please note on the envelope: “In re: LOCAL RULES.”
