UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY COURT 1 NORTHERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA 2 3 In re 4 ASSIGNMENT OF SANTA ROSA DIVISION CASES FILED ON OR AFTER JULY 1, 2017 5 AND ABROGATION OF GENERAL ORDER NO. 27 6 7 AMENDED GENERAL ORDER 33 (Effective February 1, 2023) 8 Prior Version Superseded 9 The prior version of General Order 33 (effective from July 1, 2017) is hereby 10 superseded and modified by this Amended General Order 33, as follows: 11 Del Norte and Humboldt Counties 12 (Eureka Cases - All Cases) All bankruptcy cases filed on or after July 1, 2017 and venued in Del Norte County or13 Humboldt County, and any adversary proceeding associated with such a bankruptcy case, shall14 continue to receive a Santa Rosa Division1 case number and be assigned to a judge in the 15 Oakland Division. 16 Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Lake Counties17 (Chapter 12 and Chapter 13) 18 Chapter 12 and 13 bankruptcy cases filed on or after July 1, 2017 and venued in Napa 19 County, Sonoma County, Mendocino County or Lake County, and any adversary proceeding 20 associated with such a bankruptcy case, shall continue to receive a Santa Rosa Division case number and be assigned to a judge in the San Francisco Division.21 22 Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Lake Counties (Chapters 7, 9, 11 and 15) 23 Chapter 7, 9, 11 and 15 bankruptcy cases filed on or after February 1, 2023 and venued 24 in Napa County, Sonoma County, Mendocino County or Lake County, and any adversary 25 26 1 Pursuant to a December 1, 2017 modification to B.L.R. 1001-3(a) and (b), Marin County relocated from the Santa Rosa Division to the San Francisco Division. The Santa Rosa Division presently consists of Del Norte, 27 Mendocino, Humboldt, Napa, Sonoma, and Lake counties. B.L.R. 1001-3(a).
