FILED JAN 22 2024 NOCONA SOBOLESKI, CLERK OF COURT SUPERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA INTY OF KINGS SUPERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF KINGS -000- STANDING ORDER RE: CIVIL MEDIATION ALL PUBLIC AND SUPERIOR COURT STAFF PROGRAM [MISC. No, 2024-06] ) Effective January 16, 2024, all parties subject to Local Rule 209 regarding Mandatory Mediation where the demand in the action does not exceed $500,000, as well as those other parties ordered by the court to attend mediation, are eligible to participate in the Superior Court's Civil Mediation Program at no additional cost to the parties. Remote appearances are not authorized for mediation sessions and will be conducted in person at the Kings County Superior Court, 1640 Kings County Drive in Hanford, California. Mediation must be completed prior to the Mandatory Settlement Conference. Eligible litigants participating in the Civil Mediation Program are to complete and file the necessary forms as set forth in the Civil Mediation Program Information Packet. The forms and Information Packet can be located on the court's website at www.kings.courts.ca.gov.
