Civil Cases

Civil cases involve a lawsuit in which one party sues another to:

Recover money or property.

To enforce a contract.

To collect damages for injury.

To protect some civil right.

Unlimited Civil cases are lawsuits over $35,000.

Due to the sunsetting of Code of Civil Procedure §2016.080, pretrial discovery conferences are no longer available.
