REQUEST TO APPROVE THE CHAPTER 8 TAX SALE OF TAX DEFAULTED PROPERTY SUBJECT TO THE POWER OF SALE

The Honorable Board of Supervisors of (county) County, State of California:
Your approval of the agreement to sell tax defaulted property to (name of purchaser), for the price of $(amount), plus cost of giving notice, in accordance with Chapter 8 of Part 6 of Division 1 of the California Revenue and Taxation Code, is requested.
Once the Agreement to Purchase Tax Defaulted Property is approved by the Board the completed agreement packet along with the supporting documentation is forwarded to the State Controller for final review and approval.

APPROVAL BY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
Approval for said sale is hereby granted. The tax collector is directed to sell the property described in said notice as provided for by law, pursuant to Chapter 8 of Part 6 of Division 1 of the California Revenue and Taxation Code.
