1 2 3 4 5 6 UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY COURT NORTHERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA 7 8 In re 9 TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT OF CERTAIN 10 BANKRUPTCY CASES AND ADVERSARY PROCEEDINGS 11 12 GENERAL ORDER 42 13 In order to properly allocate judicial resources, the Court orders as follows: 14 1) With regard to Chapter 11 cases filed on May 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021, Judge 15 Hannah L. Blumenstiel is hereby removed from the Chapter 11 random case assignments in 16 San Francisco, and Judge William J. Lafferty will be added in her stead. 17 2) With regard to all adversary proceedings filed on May 1, 2021 through December 31,18 2021 which are associated with a Chapter 7 bankruptcy case assigned to Judge Hannah L.19 Blumenstiel, these adversary proceedings shall be randomly assigned to Chief Judge Charles 20 Novack, Judge Roger L. Efremsky, Judge Stephen L. Johnson or Judge M. Elaine Hammond. 21 22 3) The Clerk of Court shall institute the necessary procedures to effectuate this temporary caseload reassignment.23 24 IT IS SO ORDERED.
