DEFENDANT: _____________________________________________________________ PRINT OR TYPE NAME DECLARATION IN SUPPORT OF CASE NUMBER: WAIVER OF VEHICLE IMPOUNDMENT (CVC § 23594) FINDINGS AND ORDER
I, _________________________________, hereby declare as follows:
The defendant is not the registered owner of the vehicle used in the commission of the offense in this case.
____________________________ is the lawful spouse of the defendant and has a community property interest in the vehicle used in the commission of the offense in this case. This vehicle is the only vehicle available to the defendant’s immediate family.

Impoundment will impair the ability of the defendant or a member of the defendant’s immediate family to attend school or obtain medical care.
Impoundment will result in the loss of the vehicle because of inability to pay impoundment fees.
Impoundment will unfairly infringe upon community property rights.
STATE HERE IN DETAIL WHY YOU BELIEVE IMPOUNDMENT SHOULD BE WAIVED. (Attach financial declaration if claiming financial hardship.)
I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the foregoing is true and that this is executed at __________________, California.
