= Co Oo ON DOO FW DN UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY COUR FILED EASTERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA OCT 1 9 205 In re UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY COURT EASTERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA ) ) ABROGATION OF GENERAL ORDER 05-02) AND ADOPTION OF INTERIM BANKRUPTCY ) ) ) ) RULES, AS AMENDED GENERAL ORDER 05-04 WHEREAS, on September 30, 2005, the judges of this court, by way of General Order 05-02, adopted the Interim Bankruptcy Rules designed to implement the substantive and procedural changes mandated by the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer protection Act of 2005 (the Act) as recommended by the Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure of the Judicial Conference of the United States; and WHEREAS, on October 13, 2005, the Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure and the Executive Committee of the Judicial Conference approved certain amendments to the Interim Bankruptcy Rules and Official Forms; NOW THEREFORE, General Order 05-02 is abrogated and the attached Interim Rules, as amended, are adopted in their entirety without change by the judges of this Court to be effective October 17, 2005 to conform with the Act. For cases and proceedings not governed by the Act, the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure and Local Rules of this Court, other than the Interim Rules, shall apply.
