Invitation to Comment on Proposed Changes to Local Rules of Court
Consistent with California Rules of Court, Rule 10.613, the Contra Costa Superior Court seeks comments regarding proposed changes to the Local Court Rules that will become effective on January 1, 2027. The comment period will run from Thursday, August 20, 2026, through Monday, October 5, 2026.
Proposed changes include amendments to rules on electronic court reporting; and amendments to Family Law rules on review hearings, status conferences in mediation, and a new rule concerning the private custody evaluator list.
