Third Street, S-17 San Bernardino, CA 92415 SUPERIOR COURT OF CALIFORNIA COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, SAN BERNARDINO DISTRICT } Case No.: CIVSB — Plaintiffs, v ORDER RE INFORMAL DISCOVERY CONFERENCES Defendant, sw THE COURT ORDERS THE FOLLOWING: Informal Discovery Conferences (IDCs) are available and recommended to help resolve discovery disputes. Other than matters governed by the Department's Complex Case Management Order, the Court does not require an IDC in connection with any discovery dispute. Parties are, however, required to meet and confer to impasse on the discovery dispute prior to seeking an IDC. Failure to meet and confer will result in the IDC being taken off calendar per Local Rule 560. Further, IDCs are limited in time and therefore limited in scope. The parties will submit a joint IDC statement outlining the impasse that is no more than five pages long. No other substantive documents on the discovery issues (propounding and/or responsive documents, briefs, etc.) need to be filed for the conference by either side. Disputes that are beyond the five page scope must be spread over multiple IDC dates. ORDER -1-
