RECOURSE Mediation Services*
HAVE YOU CONSIDERED MEDIATION?
Mediation gives you the opportunity to reach your own agreement, rather than having the Court decide the outcome for you.
Mediation is:
Results Oriented - Impartial mediators facilitate communication with parties in conflict so they can reach their own workable solutions.
Time Saving - Our intake process is simple and can be completed over the phone. The mediation can be scheduled to accommodate the parties.
Cost Effective - The calling party will be asked to pay a processing fee equal to the relevant filing fee in order for RECOURSE to invite the other party to mediation. The other party will be asked to pay a confirmation fee. There are no other fees for the mediation.
Confidential - Communications during your mediation are protected by California Evidence Code sections 1115 to 1128 as confidential and not admissible as evidence in court should you later decide to sue. Both parties, however, may choose to have their agreement treated as enforceable by the Court.
- RECOURSE Mediation Services is the only community based mediation non-profit organization in Sonoma County. No one will be turned away for inability to pay.
