By, Deputy GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER ORDER NO.: 20-08 GENERAL ORDER DIRECTING THE COURT EXECUTIVE OFFICER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE FRANCHISE TAX BOARD FOR THE COLLECTION OF UNPAID COURT ORDERED FINES, FORFEITURES AND PENALTIES. Whereas, the Court has instituted a comprehensive program for the identification and collection of delinquent fee, fines, forfeitures, penalties, and assessments; and Whereas, Penal Code § 14603.007 identifies participation in the Franchise Tax Board’s Court-Ordered Debt Collections Program as a component of a comprehensive collection program. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Court Executive Officer is directed to enter into the attached agreement with the Franchise Tax Board for the purpose of the collection of unpaid court ordered fees, fines, forfeitures and penalties. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Court Executive Officer may establish policies for the referral of delinquent fees, fines, forfeitures, penalties and assessments to the Franchise Tax Board for collection in accordance with the attached agreement.
