13 Effective March 1, 2025, the position of the Clerk of the Court
14 for the Bankruptcy Court and for the Eastern District of California
15 will be vacant. The judges of the Bankruptcy Court in and for the
16 Eastern District of California are presently engaged in a nationwide
17 search for a well-qualified person to fill that position. 28 U.S.C. §
18 156(b).
19 An ad hoc committee is hereby formed to assist the court in the
20 selection of the most qualified person for the Clerk of the Court
21 position. Hagop Bedoyan shall be the chairperson of the committee.
22 The committee will consist of the following nine persons: Hagop
23 Bedoyan, attorney, Fresno; Megan Dunning, Team Leader, Bankruptcy
24 Court Eastern District of California, Sacramento; Lilian Tsang,
25 Chapter 13 trustee, Modesto; Teri Wegemer, paralegal for Chapter 13
26 trustee David Cusick, Sacramento; Walter Dahl, attorney and Subchapter
27 V trustee, Granite Bay; Mark Zimmerman, attorney, Hanford; Eddy
28 Emmons, Clerk of the Court, Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District

1 of California, San Francisco; Loris Bakken, Chapter 7 trustee, Lodi;
2 and Pauldeep Bains, attorney, Roseville.
3 For each applicant selected for an interview by the collective
4 bankruptcy court bench, the committee shall: (1) conduct an interview
5 to ascertain his/her qualifications, as well as to assess his/her
6 relative strengths vis-à-vis each other applicant for the position;
7 and (2) reduce its findings to writing and submit them to the Chief
8 Judge of the Bankruptcy Court.
