ORDER EXTENDING CERTAIN
9 DEADLINES.

11 WHEREAS this court issued its Second Amended General Order 40 on May 1, 2020 in
12 response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the ability of the United States Trustee, the
panel Chapter 7 trustees, and the standing Chapter 12 and 13 trustees to conduct 341(a) meetings ofCOURT 13 California 14 creditors, and
Of 15 WHEREAS since the signing of the Second Amended General Order 40 the court has
16 ascertained that the Second Amended Order may apply to converted bankruptcy cases, which was DistrictBANKRUPTCY 17 not this court’s intent, and
18 WHEREAS this court finds it necessary to amend its Second Amended General Order 40 to NorthernSTATES 19 remedy this issue, it is hereby ORDERED that: The
20 1. In an individual case converted under Bankruptcy Code §§ 706, 1112, 1208 or 1307 to a ForUNITED 21 different chapter, the Second Amended General Order 40 does not apply and thus does not extend
22 any deadlines that may be imposed by the Bankruptcy Code or Federal Rules of Bankruptcy
23 Procedure.
24 2. All other provisions of the Second Amended General Order remain operative.
