Administrative & Support
The Administration and Support Services Bureau oversees several of the department’s divisions and the majority of the department’s civilian staff.
Units of this Bureau
Communications Division
The Communications Center is the primary 9-1-1 public safety answering point for all unincorporated areas.
Coroner Division
The Coroner Division provides competent and timely law enforcement and scientific investigations into deaths occurring within the County of Marin.
Documentary Services
The Documentary Services Division’s primary functions relate to receiving, maintaining, and processing legal documents.
Fiscal Services Unit
The Fiscal Services Unit supports and manages the financial operations of the Sheriff’s Office.
Professional Standards Unit
The Professional Standards Unit provides personnel services to the Sheriff’s Office’s more than 300 employees.
Technology Services Unit
The Technology Services Unit provides oversight and support for many public safety agencies throughout the County of Marin.
