FILED, JAN 0 8 2024 SUPERIOR COURT OF CALIFORNIA BY di COUNTY OF EL DORADO Deputy /7— 495 Main Street Placerville, CA 95667 DATE: January 08, 2024 JUDGE: Vicki Ashworth, Presiding Judge CLERK: Shawna Boley AMENDED STANDING ORDER RE: DISCONTINUANCE OF CIVIL ASSESSMENTS As of July 1, 2022, the Superior Court of California, County of El Dorado began imposing civil assessments at the reduced amount of $100.00 pursuant to Penal Code section 1214.1 and Assembly Bill 199. Effective January 1, 2024, the Superior Court of California, County of El Dorado shall discontinue imposing civil assessments in each eligible case in which a defendant has failed to appear or failed to pay. Subject to ongoing statutory authority, judicial discretion to impose a civil assessment on individual cases remains. ; Effective on or before February 1, 2024, all outstanding debt from Civil Assessments imposed between July 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023 is hereby eliminated.
