General Order No.: a/- Ol JAN 12 2021 , KUNE cron ot ne Court superlor Court of California Ci ras Deputy By. _ SUPERIOR COURT OF CALIFORNIA COUNTY OF CALAVERAS JUDICIAL COUNCIL UNIFORM INFRACTION AND MISDEMEANOR BAIL AND PENALTY SCHEDULE Pursuant to the provisions of Penal Code §1269b of the California Penal Code and Rule 4.102 of the California Rules of Court, the January 2021 edition of the Judicial Council Uniform Bail and Penalty Schedules for traffic, boating, fish & game, public utilities, parks & recreation, and business licensing infractions and traffic misdemeanors is hereby adopted by the judges of the Superior Court for the County of Calaveras. This schedule sets the bail and penalties in substantial conformity with statewide practices for such offenses. The adoption of the Judicial Council Uniform Bail and Penalty Schedule is made without exception except as provided herein and effectively vacates prior schedules or orders adopted respecting this schedule. The base fine amount for a violation of VC § 16028(a) where evidence of financial responsibility is provided to the clerk pursuant to 16029(c) is $105. The base fine amount for a violation of PRC § 4291(a-f) where evidence of proof of clearance is provided to the clerk is $50. ” For those infraction violations not referenced in the Judicial Council Uniform Bail and Penalty Schedule, the clerk will follow Section B of the Local Misdemeanor/Infraction Bail and Penalty Schedule. Amended to include $5.00 increase on base fine for all misdemeanor and infraction vehicle codes per Board Resolution No. 2013-072. This schedule is effective January 1, 2021.
