8 WHEREAS, effective June 15, 2025, the Modesto Division of the United States
9 Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California will be permanently closed,
10 IT IS ORDERED that all cases, open and closed, assigned to the Modesto Division will
11 be transferred to the Sacramento Division. Cases will retain the case number, judge, and
12 trustee assigned at time of transfer to the Sacramento Division.
13 IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that all cases filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court
14 for the Eastern District of California from Stanislaus, Tuolumne, and Calaveras counties on or
15 after June 16, 2025 will be assigned to the Sacramento Division.
16 IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that no hearings shall be held in the Modesto Division after
17 May 31, 2025. All matters and/or status conferences noticed for hearing on or after June 1,
18 2025 shall be heard in the Sacramento Division.
