§ 2.05.010. Compliance with state law.¶
The election for city officers of the city of Biggs shall be held and conducted in accordance with the general election laws of the state of California.

§ 2.05.020. General elections.¶
All city elections for city offices and city propositions shall be held at the same time general elections for the state of California are held, in accordance with the California Elections Code.

§ 2.05.030. Special elections.¶
City special elections insofar as possible shall conform with the California Elections Code and shall also be consolidated with state-wide special elections if practicable.

§ 2.05.040. Canvassing by county board of supervisors.¶
The board of supervisors of the county of Butte shall canvass all election returns in elections consolidated pursuant to this chapter, and the county clerk shall conduct the city elections that are consolidated under the terms of this chapter and under the California Elections Code.
