§ 8.16.010. Moving into city – Prohibited.

It is unlawful for a person owning, possessing, or having under its control a houseboat, barge, ark, scow, or other floating structure designed, constructed, or used for human occupation which floats over or attaches to any submerged or partially submerged lands, to move any such structure or cause it to be moved into the city.

The city council finds that all such structures are a detriment and threat to the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the city.
