1.08.010 - Date of general municipal elections.¶
The city's general municipal elections shall be held on the same day as, and consolidated with, state-wide general elections on the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November in each even-numbered year.

1.08.020 - Date of taking office.¶
Elected officials elected at a general municipal election shall take their office on the fourth Tuesday after the day of such general municipal election.
