The provisions of this article shall not be construed as authorizing the subdivision of land without fully complying with the provisions contained and set forth in Article 7 of this chapter. However, the provisions of this article may be complied with by complying with the provisions of Article 7 of this chapter relating to subdivisions without the necessity for filing a Private Street Map in addition to the subdivision maps required by said article.
